FIVE EASY STEPS
1. Qualify if customer has phone or electronic equipment (and
charger) to trade-in.

2. Appraise phone/electronic (check for water damage).

3. Print screen and secure customer info.

4. Clear ESN and erase personal d t (if applicable).

6. Pack and ship item(s).

•   Find the Model Number on a Mobile Phone?

Determine The Condition And Technology


•   Model selected will create a new
    screen
•   If another model desired click on

Lighter Wear – Cosmetically Excellent = Less Than 10% Of Returns




Moderate Wear – Scratches On Lens And External Housing




   Heavier Wear – Heavy Scratches Or Dings

Determining Broken Condition
•   How Do You Make Sure the Device is Not Broken?
     o Examine the device by turning it on, making sure that the LCD is not
       cracked or broken
     o Liquid damaged
     o Make a test call to “611” (no cost to the customer)

     o It is also VERY important to inspect a cell phone for water damage – you
       will see a red dot if there is water damage
          • Unfortunately these phones may look fine and work fine but since
             their components have been exposed to water, corrosion will set in
             and the phones HAVE NO VALUE
•   ESN MUST BE CLEAR
     o If in doubt, call the carrier to make sure the ESN isn t locked

What Does Water Damage Look Like?
    The best way to tell if a phone has water damage is to remove the battery
      and check the damage indicator “dot” located on the back of the phone
      it will turn red (or varying degrees of red) if there has been water
      damage.

What If This Item Looks Stolen?
qdigreensite.com WILL NOT ACCEPT items that have:

   1. Serial Number Scratched Out
   2. Identifying Tags on electronics and/or ESN on Cell Phones
      Removed


 If This Item Looks Stolen
  1. Tell the Customer - “I’m sorry this particular item has no value” and return
  it to the customer.

         If the customer says that they determined the value on-line:
   “Unfortunately this item is missing important information to validate it’s

  sending an email to customerservice@cexchange.com”

•   If the Customer Wants to Add Additional Items - Select “Add More Items”

•   If the Customer Agrees to the Value for the Item(s) Enter your Employee

Common Questions
  My phone is still active but I want to trade it in, do I have to cancel the service?
 Yes. It is the customer’s responsibility to terminate service and pay all final billing with the
carrier.
I have private information on my device, should I erase it before I send it?
Yes! The customer is responsible for deleting all information – however, steps will be taken at the
factory to clear out all data.
Should I leave my password on?
No. Your phone must be able to be logged on at the warehouse to determine its value
  Do You Accept All Models From Each Category? We accept thousands of different models
  of the most popular mobile phones and other devices from the offered categories.
  Unfortunately, there are a lot of devices that just don’t have any value. If we do not support a
  particular model of phone it may be donated so that it can be recycled properly.
   What about??? You can always contact CExchange about a particular item not listed and we
  will notify y of its value as soon as we can.

Determining Broken Condition • How Do You Make Sure the Device is Not Broken? o Examine the device by turning it on, making sure that the LCD is not cracked or broken o Liquid damaged o Make a test call to “611” (no cost to the customer) 611 o It is also VERY important to inspect a cell phone for water damage – you will see a red dot if there is water damage • Unfortunately these phones may look fine and work fine but since their components have been exposed to water, corrosion will set in and the phones HAVE NO VALUE • ESN MUST BE CLEAR o If in doubt, call the carrier to make sure the ESN isn t locked doubt isn’t locked. The best way to tell if a phone has water damage is to remove the battery and check the damage indicator “dot” located on the back of the phone it will turn red (or varying degrees of red) if there has been water damage.   • 19. Common Questions My phone is still active but I want to trade it in, do I have to cancel the service? Yes. It is the customer’s responsibility to terminate service and pay all final billing with the carrier. I have private information on my device, should I erase it before I send it? Yes! The customer is responsible for deleting all information – however, steps will be taken at the factory to clear out all data. Should I leave my password on? No. Your phone must be able to be logged on at the warehouse to determine its value Do You Accept All Models From Each Category? We accept thousands of different models of the most popular mobile phones and other devices from the offered categories. Unfortunately, there are a lot of devices that just don’t have any value. If we do not support a particular model of phone it may be donated so that it can be recycled properly. What about???
