With so many recruitmentopportunities available on a global scale, LinkedIn hasenabled Ashdown Consulting to venture into labour marketsand specialist areas, previously not touched upon, due to themarket knowledge required. Stephen explains, “We havefilled international roles in countries such as Korea and India.We use the same listing but just change the country code andit’s done.” As well as being able to access high-calibre poolsof talent directly, the consultancy has gained many referralsto 2nd and 3rd degree connections of members, adding totheir fill rate. Stephen remarks, “Our advertising spend hasgone down and we now fill around 7 out of 10 roles throughLinkedIn-which is huge.”
