ience to any new project, Lawrence Bluestone, as Principal of the Bluestone
Planning Group, has designed, managed, and implemented major projects ranging
from comprehensive master plans and cultural tourism attractions to town center
plans, downtown and waterfront plans, campus plans, office and industrial park
plans, “brownfield” site redevelopments, transit oriented plans, and transportation
corridor projects. His present and past clients have included corporations,
developers, and institutions such as the New England Aquarium, the Mass
Horticultural Society, the Polaroid Corporation, Olin Corporation, MIT, Gerald Hines
Developers, and the Massachusetts General Hospital. His public agency clients
have included US HUD, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority,
MassDevelopment, Mass Turnpike Authority, Massachusetts Port Authority, Boston
Redevelopment Authority, and a variety of state, municipal agencies throughout the
eastern half of the country. His work has been published in Architectural Record,
