Courtroom etiquette Judge is addressed as ‘Your Honour’ and hears matters in the Supreme or District Court Magistrate is addressed as ‘Magistrate’ in the Magistrates Court The Court Orderly hands documents between the parties and the Judge or Magistrate Stand and sit when directed by the Court Orderly Do not talk whilst evidence is being ‘heard’ Bow at the Judge or Magistrate when leaving the courtroom
