CLIENT: Paladin Films
CONCEPT: The world premiere of Paladin
Films’s One Fall was held at Chagrin Cinemas on
August 10, 2011. In attendance were
writer/producer/director/star Marcus Dean Fuller,
co-producers Julie Fuller and Richard K. Smucker
(CEO of The J.M. Smucker Company) and co-star
Seamus Mulcahy. The attendees were treated to
a special introduction by Smucker and Fuller
before the film and an exclusive after-party at a
nearby restaurant.
MARKET: Cleveland, OH
STRATEGY: Allied planned and executed the
premiere event and a publicity tour with Marcus
Dean Fuller. Fuller appeared on four live radio
shows, WKYC-TV’s (NBC) noon variety
program‘Good Company’, WOIO-TV’s (CBS)
evening news entertainment segment ‘The Buzz’,
and spoke with journalists for multiple print and
online media outlets including the Akron Beacon
Journal (daily) and The Plain Dealer (major daily).
RESULTS: Over 500 fans attended and many
local and regional media outlets covered the event.
A photographer for The Plain Dealer attended and
Chris Van Vliet, the entertainment reporter from
CBS affiliate WOIO-TV, did a live interview with
the filmmakers on the red carpet. There was an
informal meet & greet after the film ended and
VIPs were treated to an exclusive after-party with
the filmmakers at a nearby restaurant.
