Have you ever wondered why animals in the wild rarely get sick? They
normally get sick when in human captivity. Lions don’t get herpes, neither do
jackals get cancer, nor do elephants get obese. Giraffes will not get BP, neither
do crocodiles get gout. Why?

3. Wild animals do not go to the gym. Though, on certain occasions, they need to
run away from predators. Otherwise they do not exercise. But have you ever
heard of an obese giraffe, tortoise or snake? Apart from the risk of predators,
animals in the wild are guaranteed a normal life. Their secret is in their diet.
They do not feed on western diets. They eat a balanced diet constituted by
natural herbs. That way they rarely get sick. There are no animal doctors in the
wild, yet most wild animals live a full life and die naturally. I have heard that a
snake can cure another snake which will have been bitten by one of its own.
Isn’t it interesting that gorillas rarely lose their teeth for their entire lifespan
which can be more than 100 years?
People don’t catch diseases like headaches, diabetes, BP, cancer and so on.
They develop these diseases. Why? It’s because of the food we eat and the
drugs we have been accustomed to take. It is a wonder why we now have
millions of prescription and non-prescription drugs and yet more and more
people are getting sick than before.
More and more people are dying young. In Africa we are losing a generation of
people who lived long. The generation of the people who were born in the early
nineteenth century was very strong. They fed on wholly natural foods. They
were neither exposed to western foods nor western drugs. On the rare occasions
they got sick, they cured themselves with natural herbs and they lived longer
and they were generally not obese. Their immune systems never allowed many
diseases to develop in them.
In 2014 we lost my wife’s maternal grandmother at the ripe age of about 120
years. About two years earlier I had lost my maternal grandmother at almost
100 years of age. They still had full control of their mental faculties and they
had, each, a full set of teeth intact. These two women never used any type of
mouth washing creams; neither did they ever visit a dentist for their entire lives.
In retrospect, I still think they would have even lived longer, had they not been
exposed to western foods and drugs in the last decades of their lives.
Why do some people get hooked to prescription and non-prescription drugs for
the rest of their lives? They hop from one drug to another and from one sickness
to another. Isn’t it ironic that those who take drugs the most are the ones who
are mostly sick? Drugs don’t heal. They suppress symptoms of one disease and
initiate another disease in the patient. The patient will then need a new drug for
the new disease and the process repeats itself. The drug manufacturers,

4. meanwhile, will be racking in billions of dollars and yet they don’t care about
the side effects of their drugs. What they want is the money and not the man.
Their drugs intentionally create repeat customers for them.
As an example, take cholesterol lowering drugs. The liver is the only organ that
metabolises fats. The body needs the liver for its proper functioning. All
cholesterol lowering drugs affect the proper functioning of the liver. Once the
liver is not working properly, you are prone to asthma, colon cancer, heart
disease, diabetes and many other ailments. Would it be wrong to point at the
cholesterol lowering drugs as playing a major part in causing these diseases?
It’s a fact that all over-the-counter non-prescription drugs and prescription drugs
cause illness and disease.
