3. What are Web tools?
• As Technology changes so does web tools, they change to
accommodate every newly introduced platform or other.
• Web tools have changed constantly to help further
peoples education.
Web tools are online programs/sites that help with productivity
for both users and content managers when using the internet.

• There are two main types of web tools.

• Refers to the first stage of the world wide
web (www)
• Made up of web pages connected by
hyperlinks
• Read only content
(Does not allow for feedback)
The simplest way to remember this web tool is that is
a one way sort of communication!

6. Web 2.0
• This is the Advanced stage
of web 1.0
An example of this
would be face book,
it allows users to
communicate with
each other by using
comments and
reactions.
• User-generated content
(Allows for feedback from
users)
The simplest way to remember this web tool is
that it is a multi-communication tool!
