These are the partners currently involved in the partnership. SAFS aims to deliver a cost neutral service to it’s partners and provide a ‘value for money’ service.
In addition, SAFS aims to provide the following:
A data hub for Hertfordshire to share information
Improve the reach and understanding of non-benefit and corporate fraud within the county
Develop services that can be marketed to external bodies
To create a recognised ‘centre of excellence’
Formed of five district councils – NHDC, BBC, SBC, EHDC and Hertsmere, in association with HCC.
A service formed to provide fraud prevention, detection and investigation service to its partners in all areas of fraud against the council
A team of two managers, five counter fraud investigators, a data co-ordinator and two intel officers.
To branch out to all areas of non-benefit fraud/corporate fraud
Based at Hertfordshire County Council in Robertson House in Stevenage.
