SAP Cloud Infrastructure Strategy @ Amazon Exec Event
SAP has been increasingly adopting Amazon Web Services (AWS) for its own internal use. As of June 2010, SAP had provisioned over 10,000 SAP systems on AWS, with over 1,300 new systems added that month alone. Top consuming departments saw average cost savings of 77% compared to on-premise infrastructure. SAP aims to support using public, private, and hybrid clouds for all its products and use cases.
