  assessments	
  and	
  individual	
  de-­‐briefs	
  with	
  each	
  General	
  Manager	
  
and	
  the	
  Managing	
  Director.	
  A	
  bespoke	
  leadership	
  program	
  was	
  also	
  designed	
  and	
  
delivered	
  in	
  a	
  phased	
  approach	
  interspersed	
  with	
  deep	
  coaching	
  of	
  each	
  par4cipant.	
  At	
  
the	
  individual	
  coaching	
  level	
  the	
  focus	
  was	
  on	
  be=er	
  Execu4ve	
  Presence,	
  quality	
  
communica4on	
  with	
  peers	
  and	
  reports,	
  developing	
  leaders,	
  influencing	
  and	
  stakeholder	
  
management,	
  building	
  bench	
  strength,	
  crea4ng

  The	
  General	
  Management	
  team

 Bank&Fin:  GM  to  EGM  -­‐  Women  in  Leadership   This  Execu4ve  Coaching  was  requested  for  a  High  Poten4al  General  Manager  to  embody   the  leadership  traits  of  a  ‘next  level’  Leader  as  she  was  on  a  number  of  succession  plans.   This  was  Erica’s  second  assignment  with  this  person  having  already  coached  her  through   the  transi4on  to  General  Manager.  As  a  powerful  deliverer  of  results  already,  the  key   a=ributes  for  this  Execu4ve  to  build  on  was  her  Execu4ve  Presence  and  ability  to  present   at  Board  Level  and  also  to  be  able  to  present  in  a  ‘front  foot’  concise  way  if  suddenly   called  upon  to  do  so.  She  needed  to  be  able  to  step  into  conversa4ons  outside  of  her   exper4se  and  add  value  across  the  organisa4on  and  be  willing  to  drive  thought  leadership   around  the  company  strategy.  Confidence,  clarity  of  thinking,  powerful  communica4on,   asking  ques4ons  and  the  willingness  to  delegate  more,  were  all  key  to  the  success  of  this   Execu4ve  Coaching. Financial  Services  -­‐  Self  Directed  Wealth  Team  -­‐  Group  Coaching   Level:  General  Manager  and  his  Leadership  Team  (13pax)   Hogan  Leadership  Assessments  (individual  and  team)  with  follow  up  coaching.   The  GM  has  restructured  his  leadership  team  and  although  it  is  a  high  performing  team   there  had  been  challenging  behaviours  and  a  lack  of  cohesion.  This  team  has  the   mandate  to  deliver  a  large  chunk  of  the  strategy  for  market  advantage  and  need  to   operate  as  ONE  team.  Erica  has  been  working  with  the  GM  and  the  LT  to  iden4fy  their   strengths  and  derailers  and  create  a  powerful  and  collabora4ve  high  performance   dynamic.  As  part  of  the  assignment  Erica  has  been  coaching  the  GM,  completed  Hogan   assessments  and  de-­‐briefs  for  each  LT  team  member,  provided  a  combined  team  Hogan   assessment  debrief  and  just  completed  a  two  day  leadership  team  off  site  which  has   created  the  ONE  team  dynamic.  The  next  step  is  to  provide  targeted  coaching  for  a   number  of  the  leadership  team  par4cularly  with  a  view  to  succession  planning.     Property  &  Retail:  Finance  Leadership  Program     Level:  Managing  Director  &  6  General  Managers  
 Within  a  silo’d  and  highly  compe44ve  culture  the  Managing  Director  of  Finance  was   determined  to  create  a  ‘ONE  Finance’  team  amongst  his  6  General  Managers  and  their   teams.  He  was  concerned  that  for  him  to  move  to  his  posi4on  he  was  not  going  to  be   able  to  elevate  any  of  his  GM’s  and  would  have  to  source  from  outside.  There  was  a  high   degree  of  compe44veness  and  cynicism  amid  the  team  despite  them  all  being  high   performers.     Erica  conducted  Hogan  assessments  and  individual  de-­‐briefs  with  each  General  Manager   and  the  Managing  Director.  A  bespoke  leadership  program  was  also  designed  and   delivered  in  a  phased  approach  interspersed  with  deep  coaching  of  each  par4cipant.  At   the  individual  coaching  level  the  focus  was  on  be=er  Execu4ve  Presence,  quality   communica4on  with  peers  and  reports,  developing  leaders,  influencing  and  stakeholder   management,  building  bench  strength,  crea4ng  a  collabora4ve,  high  performance   cultural  DNA.    The  General  Management  team  became  a  collabora4ve  high  performance   team  with  a  willingness  to  share  resources  and  help  each  area  meet  their  objec4ves.   Due  to  the  success  of  this  approach  the  Managing  Director  was  able  to  re  structure  the   whole  division  and  find  his  successor  from  the  General  Management  team.   Arts:  CEO  -­‐  Resilience   Erica  was  called  in  to  work  with  the  CEO  of  a  Culture  &  Arts  organisa4on  who  had   sustained  a  sudden  change  in  strategy  and  deep  budget  cuts  without  no4ce.  In  addi4on   they  were  called  to  face  mul4ple  Senate  Es4mate  Commi=ee  mee4ngs  in  quick   succession.  The  dominant  focus  was  to  stabilise  and  reestablish  the  CEO’s  natural   resilience  and  strategic  thinking  capability  and  subsequently  a  re-­‐mapping  of  what  their   leadership  needed  to  look  like  to  carry  the  organisa4on  forward,  par4cularly  how  to   regroup  and  thrive  in  the  changed  landscape.  Resilience,  Adap4ve  Leadership,  Strategic   Thinking  and  Diplomacy  were  all  key  requirements  for  this  leader  to  embrace.   Due  to  the  confiden,al  nature  of  Execu,ve  Coaching  we  have  not  included  references   from  individuals  however  a  range  of  people  are  willing  to  be  called  upon  to  provide   insight  into  Erica’s  capability  and  results.
