2. ORIGIN AND HISTORY
Jeff Hardy is an American professional wrestler. He
was born on August 31st, 1977, in North Carolina. His
parents were Gilbert and Ruby Moore Hardy. Jeff is
the younger brother of Matt Hardy who is also a
professional wrestler. Jeff’s mother died of brain
cancer in 1986 when he was nine years old.
He developed an interest in motocross at the age of
twelve. He got his first bike when he was thirteen. It
was a Yamaha YZ-80. He also played baseball, but he
had to stop because he had an accident during a
motocross race. He hurt his arm. He also played
football in high school as a fullback and linebacker.
3. He briefly competed in amateur wrestling in high school.
He had to stop playing sports in high school, after he
was ordered to pick between professional wrestling and
playing sports. Finally he chose wrestling.
From 2006 to 2009 he wrestled for the WWE (World
Wrestling Entertainment) winning titles like:

World Tag Team Champion.
•
Intercontinental Champion.
•
Hardcore Champion.
Nowadays, he wrestles for the TNA (Total Nonstop
Action) where he is the TNA Heavyweight Champion.

Jeff Hardy is known by his nickname "The Charismatic Enigma"
This nickname highly represents him because he takes hard risks to
perform a good show for his fans. His favorite movements are:

•The front facelock stunner.
•The Whisper in the Wind.
7. He is also a very controversial wrestler because he
has wrestled for many wrestling companies such as
the WWE and the TNA, and some other independent
companies. Lately, he and his brother Matt have
created a new wrestling company of their own,
“OMEGA”.

In my opinion, he has a high level performance.
He is absolutely a great professional wrestler.
He is very popular among wrestling public. His
charisma and professional achievements made
him gain many fans and the nickname "The
