  • 3. Signs and Wonders
  • 4. So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the feast. For they too had gone to the feast. John 4:45
  • 5. When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. John 4:47
  • 6. So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” John 4:48
  • 7. So the Jews said to him, “What sign do you show us for doing these things?” John 2:18
  • 8. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles 1 Corinthians 1:22-24
  • 9. how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. Hebrews 2:3-4
  • 10. Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:30-31
  • 11. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

  • 28. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill. When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. John 4:46-47
  • 29. The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” John 4:49
  • 30. Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” John 4:50, NKJV
  • 31. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!” John 4:51, NKJV
  • 32. Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” John 4:52, NKJV
  • 33. So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household. John 4:53, NKJV
  • 34. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
