9. Hydro Intake Structures
Coanda Screens
• Inclined screens that use overflowing water to stay clean
• Dramatically simplify the development of small hydro plants
Gates
• Water control devices
• Part of almost every intake system
• Developing design for manufacture at Tabor
Modular Intakes
• Coanda Screens
• Collection Chamber
• Transition Box
• Controls
• Bypass Gates
10. Hydro Powerhouse Equipment
CPS Micro turbines
• Coanda Power Systems use small micro-turbine
generators.
• Turbine, generator, valves, and controls are
provided in a shipping container.

11. Hydro Switchgear Equipment
Switchgear Components
• Each hydroelectric project requires a switchyard.
• For micro & mini hydro projects, this is small power factor correction, relaying, and protection.
• For large projects (>25 MW), a mod-power substation is ideal.
12. Turnkey Small Hydro
• An estimated 1,443 GW of hydro capacity will be added
globally in the coming decade. The goal of Coanda Power
Systems is to simplify the development of these sites.
• Simple to Permit — Coanda Power Systems allow clean
water to fall through while fish and debris pass over.
Thus, a properly designed system can easily create power
without harming the environment.
• Our world class experience in the design of intake
structures, controls, and switchgear allows us to provide
the major equipment for a small hydro plant as an
engineered product.

Decide if this is necessary
*we want to get rid of this. If we want to keep it, it needs to look and function better

Identify offset of Civil Work with a diagram & then a cost build up. There’s a good description of this in the Holli II
This is powerhouse equipment. For micro & mini sites we currently offer the CPS micro-turbine. This is a pump purchased from a third party, modified & controlled for use as a turbine. We also offer contract manufacturing at EEG, and plan to begin fabrication of the turbine on the bottom left next month. This is machine that fits well into our portfolio—it’s designed as a modular unit that fits easily into certain types of existing infrastructure.
We will be building 2 Natel machines, with our scope roughly $180K. Natel defines a scale up, 2-4 machines this year, then scaling up to around, their projections are 4, 15, 40, 100 machines year over year. I think these are optimistic. I think it wll be 4, 6 (15), 8 (16), 15 (17); then they’ll see their jump
This is a switchgear. EEG offers the right equipment for mini and small hydro plants, and the mod-power sub is a very good fit for sites over 25 MW.
