This document provides information on recycling programs in Dayton, Ohio. It outlines what plastics, papers, aluminum, glass, and other materials can and cannot be recycled. 6. Tips for Recycling
• Please make sure all containers are empty.
• We encourage you to rinse food cans and plastic
containers.
• When recycling metal food cans, please place the lid
inside of the can.
• No medical syringes. Please place these in a jug with the
lid on, and put them in the trash.
• Do not place household items (such as toasters or other
appliances) in your recycling container. Take those to the
Buy-Back center.
