Error 403 is also known as Forbidden Error and HTTP Status Code. Different websites display this error. A website may fail to load and show this error. Possibilities: 1. No Permission by the Website Administrator 2. On-going website maintenance 3. The webpage is not properly loaded 4. Your IP address is blocked 5. Web cache is corrupt No Permission by the Website Administrator The website you tried to open has denied access either completely or partially. Some websites denies complete access whereas others deny partial access. It completely depends on the website administrator (the person who administer website C-Panel). When complete access is denied, no page of the website can be opened or no file stored on the server can be opened. On the other hand, when partial access is denied, only few web pages/ files are restricted. The restricted files cannot be viewed or downloaded. Perhaps this issue needs to be consulted with the website administrator. Communicate with him on the telephone and request access to the website. If the email address isn’t listed, try sending emails to addresses in these formats- contact@xxx.com, support@xxx.com or info@xxx.com On-Going Website Maintenance The website you’re trying to access could be under maintenance. In case the Error 403 page is customized by the website admin, website maintenance duration is displayed. If it doesn’t you may have to come back later. Visit the site again after a few hours to fix HTTP error. The Webpage is Not Properly Loaded Reload means to refresh. It is possible that your browser has not loaded the website properly. Right click the web page tab and select “Reload” option. Otherwise Refresh it by pressing the F5 key of your keyboard to fix error 403. Your IP Address is Blocked The website you tried to access could have blocked your IP Address. This happens when you have earlier done suspicious or prohibited activities. For example: inserted your email id or promoted other websites/ products on website’s forums, used abusive language with other users/ members of the website. In such case, there is no way to regain access unless the website administrator does so. Web Cache is Corrupt Web Cache is a folder that contains temporary web pages. These files are used for faster loading of websites. However problem appears when web cache is corrupt. Clear the web cache to fix error 403. For Google Chrome: 1. Click the Wrench icon. 2. Select Tools | Clear Browsing Data. 3. In the new tab, select “the beginning of time” option. (Drop down box option) 4. Check-up all the boxes except the last one. 5. Click “Clear Browsing Data” button. 6. Restart Chrome. For Internet Explorer: 1. Press Alt key of your keyboard. 2. Click Tools | Delete Browsing Data. 3. Check-up all boxes and click “Delete” button to fix HTTP error.
