3. Competitors
Subscribers
Rogers Telus Bell Wind SaskTel
As of Q3 in 2015 Rogers had the most subscribers
at over 9.1 million with Telus and Bell in 2nd and
3rd, respectively. Both Telus and Bell had over 8
million subscribers. Together these companies
make up the “Big Three.”
4. Items to focus on:
Customer Retention: 99 percent of customers that choose Bell as their service provider, stay with the
company. Having repeat customers is key because they can turn into brand loyalists or even apostles.
Search Engine Marketing: Keywords to target are all words technology and service related. Such as, phones,
internet, T.V., service, providers, Canada, etc.
Areas to target: Target cell phone makers such as Samsung, Apple, HTC, etc. If people are looking for new
phones perhaps they are looking for new service plans as well. It is important to find out what your
competitors are targeting so you too can target the same consumers, but also it gives you insight on to
potential opportunities your competitors are missing that Bell can take advantage of.

9. SEO
Just by doing a quick trial and error myself I found that Bell responds effectively
to words such as: service, phones, t.v., internet, technology, mobile, etc. all
followed by the words plan or Canada.
Which makes sense seeing how they’re in the service and technology provider
industry.
I would continue these same tactics as it is most effective.
Something unique I found about Bell is a post on their blog about SEO, I’m not
sure a lot of companies have that, but it explains what it is as well as what you
can do.
10. Analysis
-Two types will be used
-Statistical
-Quantitative
-Goal is to see how many clicks the company is generating
-Overall goal is to gain repeat customers and take over the
top spot among the big three by this time next year.
Exposing new potential markets and establishing cost friendly
plans are also a must.
