According to the stateâs Towards A Fifteen Year Review report, ânational income inequality as measured by the Gini coefficient increased from 0.64 to 0.69 between 1995 and 2005 and continued to do so from 2006 to 2007.â The income inequality and other forms of inequalities in South Africa are still manifest.
