2. SLIDE SHARING TOOLS
They are a Web 2.0 site hosting slides that gives
users the possibility to upload and share in public or
in private PowerPoint slide show such as
(.ppt,.pps,.pptx,.ppsx,.pot y.potx). The availability of
Software like this tool has enabled teachers to
create professional presentations quickly and easily
and to store them on their own computer. There are
over 300 million PowerPoint users in the world who
do 30 million presentations every day.
Some are free to users, such as Slide Share, others
are free initially but have a subscription system once
you have used over a certain amount of space.

3. HOW I WOULD USE THEM FOR TEACHING?
I would use these tools as a means to prepare
lessons about an espcial topic or design activities
to be uploaded on you tube or even to be used in
the class-room. For example, in a tradictional
class-room; I would use this presentation (power
point) to provide a clear information through the
combination of texts with the use of images,
graphics, audio and animations that allow students
to understand the topic more easily.
In conclusion, I would use them as a resource or a
teaching method because they will allow me to
design activities with a wide variety of elements
(texts, images, audio or graphics) in which it allows
me to add them for the slide design that provides
an effective approach in my pedagogical practice.

4. THE IMPORTANCE OF USING THIS TOOL
Nowadays the use of technology in the field of education brings us a wide range
of tools to suport our development in learning and teaching. Therefore, for
teachers and students, the Power point is an interesting and powerful tool in
which we can create different presentations to expose different topics in the
class-room, in conferences or even in a virtual environment through the internet
as well.
It is very important to enphasize that this tool is an essential aplication and
efficient that promotes to construct new knowledge in the class-room with ease,
because one of its importances is to be an audiovisual tool, as it manages to
draw the attention of students with the help of images, audio and graphics.
Finally, this tool allows us to explain better the issues more easily and
dynamically.
