My Objective
“Intend to make the IITKAA the best and ambitious AA
across the globe by Creating and Delivering Value for
the Alumni, Students and Institute for Sustainable
Growth and Enhancing Brand Equity”

2.  In 20 years of my professional experience, I had the
opportunity of interacting with several alumni in India &
Abroad, both in person and through virtual means of
communication.
 After the announcement of this election, I especially
interacted with several alumni holding key position to
influence decisions in government and private sectors, alumni
academicians, alumni associated with print media, retired
alumni, entrepreneur alumni, recently graduated alumni,
current students of IITK both in UG and PG and sought their
views/ feedback w.r.t. their demand and expectations from
IITKAA represented through elected BoD Members.
 Based on the feedback gathered and understanding of
the mission of the IITK Alumni Association, I formulated my
objective

suiting the needs of alumni/ students/ faculty
7. Electronic Suggestions Scheme
8. Start Mentoring Club for current students at IITK
9. Develop mechanism to setup interface platform for
interaction of market place players with institute through
alumni / alumni association
10.Enhance visibility of AA by establishing regional alumni
centres
11.Encourage alumni to suggest such research projects to
institute that leads to revenue generation.

5. 1. As Executive Committee Member of IITKAA Outer
Delhi Chapter (http://www.iitkaancr.org) .
2. In the last six years I held important position of
Secretary Membership, Secretary Programme
and now Vice President of the Chapter.
3. Worked very enthusiastically and contributed
towards the growth of this chapter from a stage of
infancy to maturity enabling this Chapter to
organise the IITK AA Convention on 3rd March
2013 at IIT Delhi.

to me while I tirelessly volunteered as Steering

6.  Nearly 20 years of experience in the Indian
Energy Sector comprising Natural Gas and
LNG at GAIL (India) Limited.
 The thrust has been on O&M, Project
Management and Gas Marketing.
 Completed my PG in Project Management
and Masters in Business Administration.
