The Rosetta stone was found in 1799, near Rosetta, Egypt. It was an important find because it contains writing in both the ancient Greek and Egyptian languages. This made it possible to read ancient Egyptian, which had been very little understood before that time. Image: Napolean’s army in Rosetta, at the time when the stone was found. http://iw-chameleon.bravepages.com/2arch.htm
“ Rosetta Stone” is also a set of language learning software programs. The name was borrowed from the stone found in Egypt.

On December 16, 1773, a group of colonists in Boston boarded a British ship and threw tea into the harbor, to protest the tax on tea. “No taxation without representation!” was the cry. This demonstration was one of the opening events of the Revolutionary War. Source: http://bostonist.com/2007/12/16/boston_tea_part.php
Now, there is a conservative political group called the “Tea Party.” They adopted their name from the Boston Tea Party in 1773.
The modern Tea Party and the Occupy Movement are responding to some of the same economic issues, but believe in very different solutions to the problems. The Tea Party wants small government, low taxes, and reduced funding for public services.
