Sandra Izbaşa is a Romanian artistic gymnast born in 1990. She won silver in the balance beam and bronze in the all-around at the 2006 World Championships. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she won gold on the floor exercise. Izbaşa began gymnastics in 1994 and joined the Romanian national team in 2002. She has had success in multiple international competitions, winning medals in events like the floor exercise, vault, and balance beam.
