The most critical skill for an actress to possess is the ability to convey emotion. You
cannot act in emotion, you can only act in action. The order for an actor to convey an
emotion is that they must display the out signs of that emotion which is a combination of
facial expression and voice which are used together to project the emotion that the actor
wishes to convey. So, the basic key to act better is to choose an emotion for each of the
monologue and then think how best to use the facial expression and voice to project the
emotion.
To take part in Audition of Starfall, you need to upload 3 monologues from Three
Sisters, A Doll’s House or Miss Julie Memorizing lines from Three Sisters, A Doll’s
House or Miss Julie is quite easy, but that is not what we are looking for. Acting the lines
out in a story is what we want. While selecting, we will focus on how you convey the
emotion of the character – through the beauty of your expression and your voice. A real

speaker.
We are primarily looking for the lead role who is BOLD and BEAUTIFUL. The aspiring
actress must prepare to believe in themselves and act confidently. If you are an aspiring

weaknesses. Find out what are you lacking, work hard on it and then upload your
monologues for Starfall Acting Contest.

mannerisms of the role.
