2. First Quarter
The Commanders struck 몭rst. Sam Howell found Terry McLaurin for a 26-yard score. A 29-yard
rush by Brian Robinson Jr. set up the touchdown. The Washington drive went for just three plays
and lasted less than a minute. (Commanders 7 - Eagles 0)
FIELD GOAL! Jake Elliott was good from 51 yards! The 11-play, 42-yard drive stalled in
Washington territory, forcing the Eagles to settle for three points. Jalen Hurts made big passes to
A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to push the offense up the 몭eld. (Commanders 7 - Eagles 3)
Second Quarter

3. score. The 21-yard touchdown pass came just two plays after a personal foul penalty that
pushed the Commanders back to their own 30-yard line. (Commanders 14 - Eagles 3)
With the Eagles on the Washington 4-yard line, Kenneth Gainwell fumbled, giving the ball back
to the Commanders. Kamren Curl forced the ball loose and Phidarian Mathis recovered. A.J.
Brown had 57 receiving yards on the drive.
DEFENSE! On fourth-and-1 from the Philadelphia 35-yard line, James Bradberry made a big
play to knock away a pass intended for McLaurin.
TOUCHDOWN! My goodness A.J. Brown! The receiver hauled in a 16-yard touchdown with
one hand in the front corner of the end zone. In just 1:14, the Eagles marched down the 몭eld
with big plays from Brown, Gainwell, and DeVonta Smith. (Commanders 14 - Eagles 10)
"I literally just did that in practice on Friday," Brown said. "It was the same corner and
everything."
The Commanders marched down the 몭eld in 33 seconds to get into 몭eld goal range. Joey
Slye's 몭eld goal attempt was pushed back after a false start penalty, but that did not matter, as he
added three with one second left on a 61-yard kick. This was the longest 몭eld goal in
Washington history and the longest of the Slye's career. (Commanders 17 - Eagles 10)
Third Quarter
With the Eagles on the Washington 1-yard line, Hurts fumbled on the Brotherly Shove, giving
the ball back to the Commanders. This was the second time that the Eagles' offense fumbled
within the opponent's 5-yard line. Another almost Brown touchdown resulted in a fumble on the
following play.
"The defense helped us out," Brown said. "We still have to clean up the little stuff. We are still
climbing and still working."
Britain Covey returned a punt for 25 yards to the Philadelphia 49-yard line, putting the Eagles in
4. Britain Covey returned a punt for 25 yards to the Philadelphia 49-yard line, putting the Eagles in
great 몭eld position.
TOUCHDOWN! Brown again! Another amazing catch from Brown and amazing throw from
Hurts. Brown went up and got the football with two defenders on him, and then pushed his way
across the goal line for his second score of the day. Smith's 17-yard catch on fourth-and-4 kept
the Philadelphia drive alive. (Eagles 17 - Commanders 17)

Fourth Quarter
The Commanders struck on their 몭rst drive of the fourth quarter. Logan Thomas catches the
third-down pass from Howell, beating Reed Blankenship on a slant route. (Commanders 24 -
Eagles 17)
With a fourth-quarter catch of 16 yards, Brown became the 몭rst player in NFL history with six
consecutive games of 125 or more receiving yards. Last week, he tied Calvin Johnson with 몭ve
consecutive games of 125+.
"I am still working," Brown said. "I think there will be a time where I sit down and say, 'Go
A.J.,' but it is not it right now. We have a big matchup with Dallas. We have to go to work."
"He is doing really impressive things," Hurts said. "He is playing at a very high level; he is being
consistent. As a friend, I know what his mentality is and where it is coming from. It is no surprise
in the way he works, what he does in the offseason, where his mental is, and his why. I am proud
of him as a friend and as a quarterback."
TOUCHDOWN! Hurts found a wide open Smith on the far side of the 몭eld, who walked into the
5. end zone for a 38-yard touchdown. The 3:16 drive was a quick response to the Commanders
last score. (Eagles 24 - Commanders 24)
"Jalen played outstanding," Sirianni said. "I think what you are seeing is how good he is
playing in the pocket. I thought he played lights out."
INTERCEPTION! All aboard the Blankenship! Reed snagged Howell's pass out of the air for his
몭rst interception since Week 3. A Washington penalty added on to the end of the play set the
Eagles up on the Washington 7-yard line.
"We were just waiting to capitalize on the opportunity, and the opportunity came," Blankenship
said. "You have to make a play on the ball, especially in that crucial point of the game."

6. TOUCHDOWN! There it is! Julio Jones grabbed his 몭rst touchdown as an Eagle. Hurts' fourth
touchdown pass of the game found the veteran wide receiver in the middle of the end zone. The
score came just two plays after Blankenship's interception. (Eagles 31 - Commanders 24)
"That is a play we have been practicing," Jones said. "You could not have drawn it up any
better. They did exactly what they showed on 몭lm and we just went out there and executed."

DEFENSE! The Commanders failed to convert on fourth down across mid몭eld. Back-to-back
passes from Howell were low and also dropped by McLaurin.
SACK! The closer has arrived! Haason Reddick sacked Howell on fourth down and forced the
ball loose. The ball was recovered by Washington, but with it being fourth down, that did not
matter. Once again, the Eagles took over on downs, this time in the red zone.
"I continue to play ball until there is no time left on the clock," Reddick said. "It is will, it is
want, and it is determination."

TOUCHDOWN! D'Andre Swift found the end zone on a fake Brotherly Shove play to put the
Eagles up by two scores. The Philadelphia native 몭nished the game with 57 rushing yards and a
touchdown after having just 3 yards at the half. (Eagles 38 - Commanders 24)
"It felt like a tough, gritty game. We knew that coming in," Swift said. "Those guys do a great
job, especially on the defensive end."

The Commanders drove quickly down the 몭eld to answer Swift's touchdown on just four plays
and 72 yards. Howell found Jameson Crowder in the corner of the end zone where the receiver
made an impressive diving catch. (Eagles 38 - Commanders 31)
The Eagles recovered the onside kick and kneeled out the ballgame.
EAGLES WIN!
"I am really happy about how we persevered and how resilient we were today," Hurts
said. "I am happy we won."
