photograph is Digital Coloured Photography. The
subject of the photograph is a woman, and it shows a
close up of her face. This is a portrait photo, which
represents the theme of fashion, and this is portrayed
through the style of the photograph. This photo has
been digitally manipulated, as you can see that the
saturation has been adjusted to make the photograph a
lot lighter, and to make it have a white appearance. A
shade of pink has been added to the photograph, to
create a soft subtle affect. The lighting used in this
photograph is significant because it creates the
shadows around the woman’s face, and creates a good

6. The medium that is used to create this photograph is
digital colour photography. This image was taken by
Testino in 2010, when Prince William and Kate
Middleton announced the news of their engagement to
the public. This image is mainly focused on Kate
Middleton, and the ring that she is wearing on her
finger. The top of Prince William’s head is cut out of
the image to make Kate seem more in focus. The way
that Kate Middleton’s hair is laid out, and the angle
that her eyes are looking, draws you into the image and
all of the focus is on her. The ring that is in focus on
her finger, represents the engagement that they have
just announced. The light in this image is natural and is
shot from the side, to create a soft and subtle look to
the photograph. This photograph is landscape,
containing only 2 people with no backgrounds, which
means that the photograph was taken with a wide
aperture and at about 1/100th of a second shutter
speed.

7. The medium that was used to create this photograph
was black and white photography. The subject of this
photograph is Kristen Stewart. This photograph
shows a close up of her face, and is a portrait shot.
The fact that it is a portrait shot shows us that the
aperture was set as wide, and that the shutter speed
would’ve been set to about 1/100th of a second. The
lighting used in this image is angled, to create a
shadow on the side of her face, and the contrast
between the two sides of her face make the right side
and parts of her hair stand out more than the rest of
her. The features on her face stand out as they are set
in focus, and appear to be very sharp, such as her jaw
bone… it is very in focus and gives a sharp affect.
