Quality assurance through adherence to cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) regulations is important to minimize risks of contamination, incorrect labeling, or inconsistent drug content that could harm patients. The goal of pharmaceutical manufacturing is to produce effective, stable, safe, and bioavailable drug formulations.

3.  Is a branch of pharmaceutical sciences which
concerned with the conversion of raw
materials into a certain dosage form and in a
large scale.
 Or: Is a branch of pharmaceutical sciences
which includes manufacturing, development,
marketing and distribution of drug products
including quality assurance of these activities.

7. 1. Pharmaceutical research department
This department is concerned with the
formulation of the most suitable dosage form,
taking into consideration all factors affecting
stability, solubility and mode of action and
convenience of administration.

This department is responsible for developing
formula, studying equipment, confirmation of
product uniformity.

9. 3. Production department
This department includes all operations which are involved in
conversion of raw materials into final product, and can be divided
according to dosage form produced into area of tablets, capsules,
ampoules, etc.

This department is responsible for
evaluation of dosage form before
going to the market, and
following up the product in the
market.

consistently produced and controlled
according to quality standards.
 It is designed to minimize the risks
involved in any pharmaceutical production
that cannot be eliminated through testing
the final product.
 cGMP (current GMP), to emphasize that
the requirements are dynamic.
 GMP covers all aspect of production; from
starting materials, equipment, buildings,
personal training and hygiene of staff.

damage to health or even death.
 Incorrect labelling on containers, which mean that
patients receive the wrong medicine.
