Writing Inequalities
Write an inequality for each
            statement

1. All numbers are greater than 22.

             x > 22
2. All numbers are at least 8.

              x>8
3. All numbers are at most 12.
            x < 12

4. Each winner will win over $250 .
           w > 250

5. You can get to the beach in 60
        minutes or less.
            b < 60
6. There are 40 students and 15 teachers
  driving to Great Adventure. Each car
   holds 5 people. How many cars are
                needed?

               5c > 55
                c > 11
7. Julie charges $6 an hour to
babysit plus a $10 flat fee for gas.
How many hours did Julie babysit if
     she made $82 at most?


          6x + 10 < 82
             x < 12
7. Julie charges $6 an hour to
babysit plus a $10 flat fee for gas.
How many hours did Julie babysit if
     she made $82 at most?


          6x + 10 < 82
             x < 12
