Teenagers are often savers. Bank savings are
common among teena gers.Two thirds of them
(about 69%) have a bank passbook and one in five
(19%) has an ATM card. Girls are more likely than
boys to save money left over from their
allowances.40% percent of teenagers said that they
saved money with the Government Saving Bank25%
percent saved at the Bangkok and 11% saves with
the Thai Farmers Bank. Teenagers who came from
lower income family were more likely to save than
those from wealthy families. Only one percent of
the teenagers had credits cards and they were
