1. 17-25 Male and Female. We chose
this range as we believe that people
of this age are still interested in
mainstream artists such as Kanye
West and listen to his type of music.
This age group are also very trendy as
they contain teenagers – main target
audience for mainstream music,
fashion and television- and the older
side of the spectrum who are young
urban professionals. Also all are able
to understand issues within politics
and can be or are politically aware.
We believe all ethnic
backgrounds have a part that
they can appreciate or agree
with in our video. However as
we vaguely try to raise
political issues, some members
of our “white” audience may
not be able to do so, as
politics is predominantly
“white”, but we hope that is
not the case and it is enjoyable
for all races.
We have chosen to aim at all
sexualities as it is not a
factor that interferes with
the concept of the music
video. The video would be able
to speak to all sexualities as
there are aspect of unity,
collectiveness and to stand
against prejudice.
Again religion is not something we believe
will effect what our audience get out of
our video, therefore we will take all if not
most religions into account. Our song does
have references to Christianity, which will be accompanied by
religious symbols representing those lyrics. Individuals that we have
in mind to star in the video are from diverse cultures and different
religions and may have religious clothing on during the video, though
each religion will not necessarily be represented but it will not be
excluded.
