• The tarpa, a trumpet like instrument, is played in turns by different
men. Men and women entwine their hands and move in a circle around
the tarpa player.The dancers follow the tarpa player, turning and
moving as he turns, never turning their back to the tarpa.
7. Process For Warli Painting
Step 1: Choose A Design
Step 2: First Draw The Required Pattern On The
Trace Paper And Copy The Design Into The
Clothes/Paper Using Carbon Sheet.
Step 3: If Using Cloth Paint Using Metallic
Colours And Let It Dry Well.
Step 4: Draw Outlines Using The White Colours
And Again Leave It To Dry For 24 Hours.
If Applying On Cloth Iron On The Back Side Of
The Cloth.
