The document summarizes the infamous kidnapping and murder case of Charles Lindbergh Jr. in 1932. It provides details of the crime, the investigation led by J. Edgar Hoover that traced ransom money to Bruno Hauptmann, Hauptmann's trial where forensic evidence and witness testimony implicated him, and his eventual conviction and execution. The document also notes that the baby's body was found months later and that Hauptmann claimed innocence until the end, though the author believes the evidence clearly pointed to his guilt.

The Baby’s body is
Found!
Baby Charles Augustus Lenbergh’s body was found on May 12, 1932.
The body was mutilated and partially decomposed. There appeared
to be severe trauma to the baby’s head.

Hauptmann’s Defense
Hauptmann’s attorney tried to associate the baby’s disappearance
with the servants. When he and his defense failed to counter attack
the prosecution’s claims, the jury convicted Hauptmann of first
degree murder and sentenced him to death by the electric chair. After
his death, his widow discovered numerous innocent men in New
Jersey’s crime history, determined to prove his innocence. On April 3,
1936, Bruno Hauptmann was electricuted.

What Do I Think?
I think justice was served on a hot plate. Based on what was found,
Hauptmann is 100% guilty for the kidnapping and murder of the baby.
During the investigation his own material was found in the Lindbergh
property. And it’s been said that he had planned this for a long time. His
wife appeared to be in denial because nobody want to view their loved
one as heartless killer. While she made a good effort to prove his
innocence, I think it was wasted time. There was more evidence that
counter evidence.
