ELEPHANTS

 Elephant’s   tusks are used to make
  medicine.
 Tusks are used to dig for water, salt
  and roots to eat.
 When fighting the tusks are used to
  attack, defend and protect it’s trunk.
 Just like humans are left or right
  handed, elephants are left or right
  tusked.
FOOD

 Elephants  are herbivores which means
  that they don’t eat other animals.
 Elephants eat
  leaves, twigs, bamboo, bark, roots, fruit,
   seeds and flowers.
 Elephant only digest around 40% of the
  food they eat because they have poor
  digesting systems.
FUN FACTS

 Elephants are one of the most intelligent
  animals on earth.
 They are also one of the biggest animals on
  earth.
 They like to live in groups and are very family
  oriented.
 They are mammals.
