2. Woda Management and Real Estate, a division
of the Woda Group, oversees more than 190
properties in 12 states. Woda Management
handles primarily low-income and senior living
communities.
In December of 2014, the Woda Group
announced the completion of the Hayden
Senior Apartments project. The project began
in 2013 following an official announcement in
late 2012, which introduced the possibility of
additional much-needed senior housing on the
south side of Springfield, Ohio.
3. The complex occupies the former Highlands
Elementary School site and has played a
key role in the furthering of such
neighborhood improvement projects as the
Clark County Crossroads Plan and the
Springfield Unified Plan for Redevelopment.
The now-completed senior apartment
project includes 44 units of new
construction targeted toward the senior
market.
4. It incorporates sustainable building
technologies and has earned certification
by Enterprise Green Communities. Also
pending review for LEED Gold Certification
by the US Green Building Council, the
project includes such amenities as an
exercise center and computer room. A
community room encourages neighbors to
connect with one another, while also
providing a space for visiting grandchildren
and other youngsters to play.
