2. Woda Management and Real Estate, LLC, is a
respected enterprise that manages nearly 200
properties in states from Ohio to Michigan. Woda
Management is affiliated with The Woda Group, Inc.,
which includes construction and real estate
development divisions. In November, 2014, the firm
celebrated the successful development of the
Washington School affordable housing apartment
building in Washington Court House, Ohio.
The 42-unit Washington School building for seniors
was co-developed by The Woda Group, Inc., in
tandem with US Bancorp Community Development
Corporation (USBCDC) and the Community Action
Commission of Fayette County, Ohio.
3. The $9.8 million project was supported by
USBCDC low-income and historic housing tax
credit equity investments and involved
redevelopment of Washington High School, which
was built a century ago. The building is designed
to provide seniors earning 60 percent less than
median area income with affordable residences.
In addition to an exercise room, computer room,
and library, residents have access to a full range
of Community Action Commission of Fayette
County supportive services. The school
represents the fifth collaborative project
undertaken by USBCDC and Woda.
