we targeted the university students and young worker as the main group of our product.
And we use a questionaire to collect their experience of sleep problems.

Persona
14. Social bond is an important factors which affect insomnia patients,
so we are working on a way to put this element into our product to
help people feel safe and bonded.
Taptap Breath together
When the insomnia patient feel
lonely and afraid there is no one
like them, they can tap on their phone
or a button and the starry night will
respond by lighting up and show people
who also awake.
Users can see their own breathing performed on the Starry
night by the light up and dark off, which represent Inhale
and exhale.
There are two patterns of breathing, the users ones and
a bigger pattern represent the intergrate of others. When
users try to fit with another pattern, they may feel bonded
and safe, but this pattern is actually been adjusted to fit the
best temple of the users.
Social bond
15. With the starry night system, the dim light fiber can attract patient’s attention but have
no harm for being too bright; With the twinkle of the light fiber, we provide a breathing
pattern which the users can follow and adjust their breath into calm stage.
Conclusion
To create a comfortable environment for relaxing the state of mind and adjust the
breathing pattern, we want to build an abstract focus which can make patients feel
calm and socially bonded.
