2. About Us
Williamsburg Northside Schools, in Brooklyn NY, have been imparting
child-centered education since 1999 to young children from three
months of age through fifth grade.
Their aim is to assist students to become constant learners and
responsible citizens who are capable of encountering the challenges
posed by the real world.

The school is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of educating
children.
The Reggio Emilia Approach incorporates each child’s specific interests,
curiosities and personality traits in the construction of their individual
path of learning.

5. Infant & Toddler Center
The Infant & Toddler Center offers a nurturing environment to the
toddlers.
The children are familiarized with different forms of activities and media
that expand their understanding of the world around them.

6. Preschool
The Preschool program provides child-centered and teacher-facilitated
education to children from ages 2-5.
Students are encouraged to express their unique ideas through a variety
of media such as paint, collage, clay, blocks, music, and natural
materials.

7. Lower School
The Lower School educates children from pre-kindergarten to 5th grade.
The program utilizes children’s interests and enthusiasm to engage them
in effective learning.
The Brooklyn Elementary school offers a flexible curriculum that aims at
fostering the students’ abilities to work collaboratively and instilling
respect for others in the society.
