violence in the last 12 months the proportion of ever-partnered
women (15-49) who experienced violence in the
last 12 months
• Prevalence of sexual violence by a non-partner - the
proportion of women (aged 20-29) who have ever
experienced sexual violence from the age of 15 on.
Editor's Notes
SDR disease of circulatory system 0-61, per 100 000, females differ 150 in CA to 21 in EU (more than 7 times within ER) The same difference when ischaemic heart disease is analysed (56 vs 7). When analysing Death rates from breast cancer – situation is opposite – almost twice higher rate in EU than in CA countries (23 vs 12 per 100 000 women of all ages).
Global RH strategy – 2004
Global Gender strategy 2007-2014
he final step was to reach consensus on two proposed indicators that should be put forward for global level monitoring of post-2015 target on violence against women. These were:
Prevalence of physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence in the last 12 months as measured by: the proportion of ever-partnered women (15-49) who experienced physical and/or sexual violence by a current or former husband/male intimate partner in the last 12 months; and
Prevalence of sexual violence by a non-partner as measured by: the proportion of women (aged 20-29) who have ever experienced sexual violence by a non-partner from the age of 15 on.
as measured by: the proportion of women (aged 20-29) who have ever experienced sexual violence by a non-partner from the age of 15 on.
