Casting and Location list
Gibby
Gibby is the main
character of the film
and is the character
we follow throughout
. He begins as
unpopular character
that is continuously
bullied by his peers
for not fitting in.
Bullies
These two bullies
are the additional
characters that
are seen in some
scenes when they
are bullying Gibby.
The film does not
go into great detail
about there life
and are just
known as the
bullies
Gibby’s friends James
James is Gibby’s
best friend and has
been so since they
first started school.
James and gibby
drifter apart as
they got older
because of gibby
lack of social skills,
but James always
look to include
gibby in everything
and to keep them
friends.
Gibby’s friends Ross
Ross is
considered as
James’ best
friend and had
no real
knowledge of
gibby. He first
met gibby when
James invited
them both round,
at first Ross
tolerates gibby
but has no real
likening for him
but as the film
Gibby’s friends Joe
Joe is a family friend
of gibby and while
they are not the best
of friends, they know
and are happy in each
other company. The
reason the two stay
so close is that Joe is
good friends with both
Ross and James and
naturally when they
both help gibby, Joe is
more than willing to
help.
Courtyard
This is an isolated area
that is a possible
location for the trailer to
show how alone gibby is.
Not only this but
because it is such a
secluded area it is a
possible bullying scene
location because of how
high up it is
Main corridor
This is the main part
of the school that
can show the main
bullying scene while
josh sits alone. It is
an overlooked area
so the filming may
be from above whilst
showing the view of
his friends at the
same time. Giving an
idea of a point of
view shot
Hallway
This is the area that will
be used to show the
transformation and slow
motion walk from the
four friends. This is
used in this location
because of the size and
therefore can connote
the sense of unity and
closeness the character
represent showing the
transformation of their
relationship.
