The Challenge
Dridco needed to update and fix it’s low quality app, in order to fuse
the usability of mobile devices with all the functionalities of the website
demotores.com.
Our Approach
Monits achieved a great success with a native app (on Java and
Objective-C) built with new code, to achieve stable and fast
performance. Today, the app mirrors the functions of this marketplace
with some new extra features.

The Challenge
The Government of the City of Buenos Aires wanted to provide
citizens an actualized traffic report and status of all public
transportation. The app had to process enormous quantities of
information, graphic components and geolocalized data.

A native app (Java for Android and BlackBerry, Objective-C for iOS)
and servers on Java (Spring MVC y Hibernate, database on
PostgreSQL), with a simple UX that allows a clean and stable

The Challenge
Aula365, the dominant e-learning app in LATAM, had to include
augmented reality, teacher-student interaction , and back-end
functionality for teacher, while managing enormous quantities of
data.
Our Approach
An app was developed on HTML5 which reduced development costs
while reaching several platforms with cutting edge technologies. We
used Aurasma to deal with augmented reality while working closely
with the client´s design team responsible for the imagery.

The Challenge
Unilever and the famous hairdresser Mariano Acosta asked Monits to
develop an app to enhance the premium sales channel of
Tresemmé, allowing hairdressers to keep a record of its clients in an
easy way.
Our Approach
To develop on HTML5 using Phonegap following a strict process of
very short iterations with a one main focus: UX. We run continuous
usability tests and used focus groups to verify that the app was in line
with the expectations.

Funler wanted to create Project13, a gamified learning experience in
which parents could set goals and awards so their kids in elementary
school could reinforce their formal education.
Our Approach
Monits took the project since birth and created the UI from scratch
using specific gaming concepts. Once the UI/UX was done, our front

The Challenge
The main challenge with this “call a taxi” app was on the server side: it
had to answer on real time, searching through tons of data (mainly
geolocalized info) and retrieving a relevant answer in seconds.
Our Approach
We developed two native apps for all platforms, one for drivers and
one for passengers, and designed efficient databases and search
protocols. Special attention was paid to server configuration in order
to ensure fast response while preventing data losses.

The Challenge
To develop a social app that would link car dealers in USA letting
them collaborate in the purchase of cars lots. The app had to allow
the visualization of inventories, and collaboration with an enhanced
chat and information-sharing tools.
Our Approach
We provided consulting on the design area, and then developed a
native app using node.js and pomelo for iOS and Android. We
designed servers with the objective in mind of enhancing security
and assuring the integrity of the databases.

The Challenge
ShareTrips needed to create a specific UI for it’s website, to allow
users to have a collaborative experience while booking hotels and
planning a trip.

While developing this app we faced two major constraints: first, we
had to coordinate with a team of developers in USA, and second, we
had to synchronize the app with a previously developed website,
sharing databases and servers.
Our Approach
In a development process of six months with very frequent iterations,
we paid special attention to UX in order to maximize publications of
events, thus, generate a more engaging experience.

The Challenge
To redesign AMC’s mobile e-commerce platform in order to improve
its selling metrics, with a native app for Android phones written on
Java that respects the visual aspects of the previous version and
supports all mobile devices that the previous one would not
(including tablets).

Monits developed the new version eliminating most of the old code
but keeping its structure and even including new sections to the app
as “pick your seat”, “buy a combo” or “new releases”.
