God's Righteous People ... By Faith
GALATIANS 3:6-9
Understand that in the same way that Abraham believed God and it was
credited to him as righteousness, those who believe are the children of
Abraham. But when it saw ahead of time that God would make the
Gentiles righteous on the basis of faith, scripture preached the gospel
in advance to Abraham: All the Gentiles will be blessed in you.
Therefore, those who believe are blessed together with Abraham who
believed.
GALATIANS 3:23-29
Before faith came, we were guarded under the Law, locked up until
faith that was coming would be revealed, so that the Law became our
custodian until Christ so that we might be made righteous by faith. But
now that faith has come, we are no longer under a custodian.
You are all God’s children through faith in Christ Jesus. All of you who
were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is
neither Jew nor Greek; there is neither slave nor free; nor is there
male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Now if you belong
to Christ, then indeed you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according
2. to the promise.
Faith brings Righteousness.
All who believe in Christ become children of God.
Believers are all ONE in Christ Jesus.
Believers in Christ are Abraham's Seed (Heirs of the Promise)

determined that snow shoeing is the preferred activity. Snow Shoeing is
easy to learn and good exercise. Cost to rent your equipment about $15

We'll supply basic lessons for snow shoeing, but all you really need to
know is to pick up your feet over the soft snow when you walk. Open to
people of all ages, a great activity and exercise for your whole family. If

Special Prayer Service
Prayer for Adult Children
Thursday, Feb, 20
7:00 - 8:30 PM
5. No matter how old are children are, as parents we care for them and
desire to see God's will accomplished in their lives. Join other parents
as we lift up our grown children to the Lord in a special prayer service
on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary.
We will worship the Lord in song, read scriptures and hear
testimonies. Rev. Larry and Audrey Eddings of Wind of the Spirit
Ministries will lead us in a focused time of prayer and forgiveness. We
will also gather in small groups to share and pray for one another.
Com and pray with the power of God's Word over our adult children. We
can rest in the providence of God as we turn our children over to His
care.
Questions? Contact Pastor Rick or Evelyn Carlson.
If you have a specific issue that you would like to see addressed in the
Prayer for Adult Children, please pass it along to the church. You do not

7. WCUMC Trustees have begun a Capital Improvement project to reduce
our energy footprint and expenses by replacing all outdoor and indoor
overhead lights (except Sanctuary) with LED lights, and replacing all T12 florescent bulbs with T-8 florescent bulbs. T-8 bulbs will last 10
years, will not flicker and buzz, and will reduce energy cost by 25% 50%.
Additionally, PSE has announced a Rebate Program to encourage
retrofit. WCUMC estimated rebate will be $9,000, and retrofit should
generate savings of approximately $4,500 per year.
A Designated Fund to raise the $26,500 needed for the full project has
been established.
If you want to make a donation to this fund, please write your checks
to WCUMC with Lighting Project on the memo line.
More details will be shared during the Sunday morning worship service,
and a special display will be set up in the Narthex.
