reassigned to another Coach and Mentor.

Placement Testing information
Student’s Academic Status –
Based on the student’s
academic status the student
should be referred to back his
case advisor at the Advisement
Department.
13. Area 01: Indicates when
requirement is met. AA
degrees require both ENC1101
and ENC1102.
Area 02: Students must enroll
for one of the courses listed.
Area 03: Students must enroll for a
course from group A and Group B.
Knowing the General Education Requirements
(A minimum grade of ‘C’ is required)
13
14. Area 04: Students must enroll
for a course from group A and
Group B. If a 1000 level course
is selected for group A, then a
2000 level course must be
selected from group B and vice-
versa.
Area 05: Students must enroll
for a course from group A and
Group B. Course selection will
depend on the students
declared Pathway
Special Requirements That You Should Note
14
15. 15
Area 06: Students who have
declared a Pathway to an AA
degree are required to
complete two math courses.
The math decision should be
based on the students’ declared
pathway. Students with STEM
pathways will require additional
math courses as pre-requisites
for transfer to an upper division
program.
The Math Challenge – Know Which Math
16. Area 07: This section only
requires 3 credits, but it is an
area where the student can
enroll for one of the transfer
pre-requisites. This area can
be completed with at least a
grade of ‘D’.
Area 08: CGS 1060 is
required for graduation. For
some Pathways, the student
can also take the Computer
Placement Test. If all
electives are not met, then
the credits for that area will
most likely go to electives,
however the area will be
shown as met. A minimum
grade of ‘D’ is required.
The Computer Competency Requirement

17. 17
Courses placed in this section
could be used towards
graduation, but because all
areas and electives have been
met, these courses go into the
excess section. These courses
could include additional transfer
pre-requisites.
Courses in this section are
not accepted towards the
declared pathway. For
example, all developmental
education courses will be
placed in this section.
Excess Credits and Credits not Accepted Towards
Graduation

from graduating.
Progress Towards Graduation
19. 19
This area outlines the College
benchmarks the student has
achieved including the
residency requirement and
the percentage completion.
For every benchmark
achieved or likely to be
achieved at the end of a
term, an ‘X’ is placed next to
that benchmark.
