gained good experience in the field of printing by working with

Assistant General Manger in Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran

offset, Intaglio Printing, Numbering and cut pack finishing techniques
and also having good practical experience with design and plate
making techniques. I was working for Bank Note Press, Ministry of
Finance, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, India since May 1973 in various
capacities like Deputy technical Officer, Technical Officer and Assistant
Works Manager till August 1991 and in the month of September
Finance Ministry transferred me to Reserve Bank of India for setting up
their two new security printing plants in India have been asked to
assist the Managing Director, Reserve Bank of India, New note Press
Project, Mumbai in the new venture of setting up the two plants, one
in southern sector at Mysore and another in Eastern sector in Salboni.
I have assisted in preparing the technical specifications for the
technology to be adopted for printing currencies, technical machineries
to be procured and I have been asked to conduct the Pre-inspection
before dispatch at manufacturer’s place in Germany, Italy, Switzerland
and Austria. I was one of the member of two member team for
selection of technology to be adopted for Reserve Bank of India
Presses and myself along with a Senior Chief Officer of Reserve Bank
of India traveled to European Bank Note Printing establishments in
U.K., France, Germany, and Switzerland and studied the technology
details and submitted the technical report for the selection of printing
machineries for the Reserve Bank of India, New Note Press project. I
have also assigned with various official work for attending the
Currency Automation Conference held in Monte Carlo in 1993 to make
further improvements in the project. I have assisted in the preparation
of the working procedures and drastically reduced the Manpower
requirement from 4000 to 1100 employees. Has helped to bring down
the recurring expenditure of the organization. After the project work
was completed I have been to depute to the site at Mysore and
assigned the task of Inspection of machineries prior to its dispatch for
the Mysore Plant. I was one of the members of the technical
delegation and visited Switzerland, Germany and Italy and inspected
the machineries and got the defects rectified then and there and
arranged to ship the same to India. At Mysore I have been given the
task of erection and commissioning of the machineries and asked to
perform the Final acceptance test. These things were done with utmost
care and all the teething problems were got rectified in the initial stage
and machineries were put into regular production. The entire erection
and commissioning were done in a shortest period. Thereafter I have
been asked to train the personnel for operating the highly
sophisticated machineries and I have done it meticulously planning the
training programme and even today the plant is working giving the
optimum production with quality. Subsequently after the completion of
11. 5 years in Mysore, I have been promoted to the post of Assistant
General Manger and posted at Salboni plant in July 2000 and I have
shown the improvement both in production and in maintaining the
quality of the product. I have visited Germany for printing Rs.500/-
Bank Notes for the Indian Government along with the top officials of
Reserve Bank of India. I have been assigned the task of approving the
Rs.1000/- deno, watermarked paper for the Indian Bank Notes and I
visited the Paper Mill in Munich and completed the task to the full
