2. Canary Island
Most parts of the Canary Island have got a
subtropical climate, but differences in
elevation allow for a variety of lanscapes,
vegetation and animal life. For that reason,
we can find diverse plant species like palm
trees, pines, dragon trees and nopales, or
prickly pears. There are also a important
areas of laurisilva, or laurel tree forest.
4. Canary Island
Many interesting bird species live on the
Canary Island, like canaries and ospreys,
or sea hawks. There are also unusual
reptiles, like the giant lizard.
