The Mathematician Theaetetus added the last
two.
Shapes are called the Platonic solids, after the
ancient Greek philosopher Plato; Plato, who
greately respected Theaetetus’ work, speculated
that these five solids were the shapes of the
fundamental components of the physical
universe.
