the maximum 73% of the town covers with pucca
drains and in the lacking regions the sewage is let on
to the roads and even if there is 93.29% of coverage
of household toilets open defecation is observed in

is covered with drains which are pucca.
The source of water for the town is from Manneru
River through an infiltration well which is in the
south east to the town and the frequency of water
supply is once in 4-5 days, the alternate sources for
the population is through hand pumps and through
piped water supply only 15 lpcd is supplied.

13. Issues
 Their is a Acute water problem in the whole Singarayakonda Town.
 They are problems like Solid Waste Management, Sewage system in SC & ST
colony.
 Katti-kapparulu colony is facing problems like sewage system, kutcha roads and
number of literates are very less.
 HIV cases are also been identified in the Singarayakonda Town.
 There is huge traffic problem on the Trunk Road both in the morning and
evening.
