2. {In my project I want to
tell you about the food of
Japan.
Japan is an island state . It is located in the Pacific ocean. All
island is surrounded by water. The soils of Japan are badly
suitable for agriculture. So the people in this country have to eat
some other food which they can get from their nature: fish,
various kinds of yam , chestnuts , various herbs, bamboo, soy,
seaweed and rice .And in my project I want to tell you about the
food in Japan.
3. So the main products in the Japanese kitchen
are rice, seafood. All main dishes are made out
of rice or noodle or seafood. Nevertheless I
consider that the Japanese kitchen is very
various.
4. { Raman
It is Japanese wheat noodle with meat or fish broths. It’s a
simple dish , which consists of wheat noodles in Chinese in a
soup seasoned with soy sauce , on top of which there is
cooked simmered pork, naruto fish pate , pickled bamboo
shoots and vegetables such as spinach or komatsuna (sort of
Chinese cabbage )
5. { Donbure
It is a dish from rice with meat, or fish or vegetables. This
Japanese dish got its name from the dish , which is served .
Domburi Bowl holds about two standard servings of rice ,
on top of which a variety of supplements are placed : meat,
fish, eggs , vegetables or any other side dish.
6. { Sushi
It is a dish of traditional Japanese food made
from thin pieces of raw fish and rice rolled
into the dried seaweed with acetic seasoning
and various seafood and other ingredients.
7. { Udon
It is a noodle with chicken or fish. In the preparation of the udon
the thickest noodles (from 2 to 4 mm in diameter) are used . The
noodle color can range from white to off-white , and the
consistency is soft and elastic . Udon , is usually served as a soup
with noodles in broth . It can be eaten both hot and cold , which
makes it particularly valuable in the summer , as a means to
combat the heat. As a rule, it is decorated with chopped green
onions.
8. { Sashimi
It is thinly cut slices of raw seafood. This traditional Japanese
dish is made from fresh raw fish . Usually sashimi is served at
the table as the first dish , and symbolizes the beginning of the
meal . In Japan , this dish is not prepared to stave off hunger ,
and , above all , to demonstrate the culinary skills of the chef.
10. { Wagashi
It is the traditional Japanese sweets. When
they are created they use natural products :
legumes , rice , various kinds of yam , agar -
agar , chestnuts , various herb teas and tea.
