2. I selected this picture, however I haven’t quite experimented it yet. But I like the
picture because it lets you in on the background of the killer. This picture is also
interesting because the killer is tilting his head to the write which is signifying some
sort of attempted fear to scare people. The location is pretty clear that it’s based in
some sort of abandoned deserted basement, which conforms to horror genre
conventions of where most the actions take place with basements being one of
them. In a way you can tell that the basement is his territory. Behind him is where
he may keep victims so this picture could also be representing where the victims
are kept and where the killer locates himself.

3. This picture gives us a better view of the killer; as this picture is a
close up of the killer. Here you can see the mask closer and it
gives us a plethora of details and analytical views. As we can see
in the picture he has blood on his face which seems to have
stayed like a scar which couldn't connote the violence he has
been involved in whilst traumatising victims, also has stitches in
his face. Having the mask covers the killers identity and conforms
to horror genre conventions as in all horrors the killers have a
hidden identity

4. This picture was quite effective because of the Taliban worn by the
killer, this pretty much seems like a prop he had throughout his
childhood years and still has huge significance to his life. The way the
killer is posing connotes to you that the film is a horror genre because
the killer looks very horrific in his actions displayed through the
picture. Furthermore, also the way the killer is griping tight on the
chain could signify he is really on his job and it could also connote
that the chain is his source of weapon when it comes to violence
towards his targeted victims
