2. INTRODUCTION
In our school, students have the opportunity
to plant plants in biology and science
classes.
In those classes they study the structure of
plants and in the context of that they explore
through their personally grown plants.
With the help of the teacher, they plant
seeds from different plants, explore the
conditions needed for a plant to grow from
seed to fruit.
3. HERE IS AN EXAMPLE IN WHICH WE PLANTED
TOMATO SEEDS
The students' first step
is to prepare suitable
soil and space for
sowing the seeds.
4. PREPARING FOR SOWING
Here are the tomato seeds
collected from the previous
year.
Students sow the seeds
and learn the conditions for
seed germination.
5. Then we leave the seeds for a while and be careful
to the required conditions (heat and water).
If they have the necessary conditions, they will germinate after a certain time.
6. AFTER 20 DAYS
We can see that the seeds
have sprouted.
Students see and notice
the changes.
7. The seed has
passed into the
second phase
of the plant life
cycle -
seedling. The
students make
sure that in
addition to heat
and water,
there is also
sunlight.
