Love is difficult to define as its meaning depends on the individual. It is described as selflessness and occurring unexpectedly. Love makes people act in ways they did not think possible. The story is told of a shy boy who finds love which transforms him into an extrovert. At his school Christmas party, after being asked to help clean, he finally confesses his feelings to the girl he loves at 1:43pm. The timing of this confession was important as it allowed his true feelings to come to light. Time can be an enemy of love, as the right person may come at the wrong time. Love persists throughout generations in different forms.

1. Love: In Ways You Cannot Imagine
Humans, People, Homo sapiens, or any other term that pertains to human beings, will all fall
down to the fact that we can feel things and emotions. Science says that our brain’s hypothalamus
produces hormones wherein our limbic system is the one responsible for controlling our feelings and
emotions. But science aside, what does love really mean?
Love is hard to define. But one thing’s for sure, its definition depends on the person defining.
Love is selflessness. When you think of others rather than yourself. Love is when the right time just
comes along, when you haven’t found the right words to say what you truly feel, it just comes at an
unexpected hour. Its diverse definitions make it so complicated. Many people prefer loving someone
and yet the people they love do not love them back. Some prefer to love someone in the shadows, or
even love someone even though it is forbidden. How powerful love is for it to make people act and do
things they have never done before.
There was a guy, he was an introvert, never talks to anyone, a nerd, school is the only things
that matters to him after his family. But all of those changed after that moment, when he held her hand
at their school’s play. He started to feel something different, good different. He then became an
extrovert, started talking to his classmates and even became the class’ joker. All of those major changes
happened, became possible because of that girl. The year is ending and it is their Christmas Party
happening at that day. He has been trying so hard for months to find the perfect timing to tell that girl
about his feelings because he does not want to hide it anymore. But there was never a chance that the
girl he loves so much is alone. The girl once asked him if he has this one special person and he said yes,
she asked who and he did not answer because he knew it was not the right time. The party ended, his
classmate asked him if he could wash the rug and because he is obedient, he washed it. When he came
back, his girl classmates were moving a table and he offered help. When he had finally moved the table,
he stood there, dumbfounded, at what he saw at the door. It was her, he then looked at his watch and
saw that the time was 1:43 p.m.He was making his way to the door as he spoke the words, “You were
asking who my special person is right?” then the girl answered yes. “It’s you.” He ran away, wanting to
get out of that place, afraid of what might be her reaction. It was Christmas break and that confession
haunted him. He sees the numbers 1, 4, and 3 every time. What I’m trying to say here is that, everything
happens for a reason. What if his classmate did not asked him to wash the rug? Then maybe he could
have left the room immediately and never got the chance to tell what he really feel towards the girl.
Time is one of love’s mortal enemies. We do not know when that one person will come to our
lives. There may be instances where we had already met that one person but we met them in the wrong
time, or maybe we have rushed things when it shouldn’t be that way. The choice will come from these
two options: Wait for the right person to come to your life or to make that moment happen. This
phenomenon persists over generations.
The clock keeps on ticking, the day becomes the night, the wind passes through the strands of
your hair, and your heart will always keep on beating as long as you’re alive. Those are the times that
you need to remember that love exists. How lonely are those people who think that love does not exist
for hatred and pain reigns over love in their hearts. Let us keep in mind that no matter what happens,

burning.
