behind the things, just because it has been going on very earlier. I think we must give
stress on the other side of this matter. Many superstitions concealed great logics in its
core; it can be scientific or social. So, it’s not intellectual thing, if we are denying
thoroughly by giving the reference of modernization. Let’s learn, exactly, what is the
reason behind to following them from very earlier time?

without knowing the logics and concept behind it. I would like to mention here, it’s very

Like this, there is another superstition that if someone died, must not cook food at
home. Why should not cook food? Is, it very essential? If we cooks the food, will be
occurred something wrong with us????? Or with deceased? No, there is nothing like
that. There is social rational concept behind not to cooking food when someone passed
away. Did you ever noticed, sometime you skip your lunch when you feel sad, unhappy,
cry or weep. Same thing occurred when someone passed away whom you loved a lot.
At that time, our inner stamina shattered and we do not give importance for our daily
ritual. Another thing is that if we do not cook food, neighbor takes meals for the family
members. Its shows the love and affection for your neighbor at time of adversity when
its need a lot.
It’s also believes about the womens’ that they becomes “impure” or “unclean” during the
menstruation time and they should avoid to go in kitchen or lift the things. Why???? Is

avoid going in kitchen or doing daily works?????????? There is scientific reason is that
during that time womens’ feels week. In ancient time, it has been rumored avoid to
going in kitchen because they need rather rest during that time.
Andother Superstitionswith their ridiculous concept
If there are some worthy superstitions then some ridiculous superstition are also in rat
race. For instance, now-a-days, it is going on exam season; and some students have
tremendous craze about eating curd with sugar before going for exam. Why they eat
sweet curd before exam? There is a notion, if they take it exam will be good? How can
be it possible that if you did not learn anything, even then you are expecting about
marks. It’s a very simple thing or I will say that it’s about your common sense; sweet
yogurt could not play even 1 percent role to getting marks at all, except to keep your
mind cool because it consist more coolness with itself. It’s amazing, how can we make
fool ourselves by think like this? It could be a reason behind this myth that someone
who got highest marks might be love to eating sweet yogurt and then it’s going on yet.
There is also another myth if cat come in front of you by crossing the path then it might
be happen something wrong with you. We started to shivering, ‘oh, what will happen
wrong with me?” How, can be it possible then an innocent cat might be reason of your
unfortunate? It’s my personal experience about this myth, I cross that path but with the
auspicious name of god. I am emphasizing here that to taking name of god is not a sign
of superstitious because it’s the origin of boosting firmness in you.
So, do not make a distance with our religious belief, customs and rituals by thinking that
they are the part of superstition and affluence with myths. So, try to find out exactly what
is the reason behind them??? Use your own reasoning power that why it is so???? Do
not nay them or keep them aside just with the mean concept of modernization or
religious tradition. Avoid to say like this ‘we are following them because it has been
going on earlier; always say 'yes, we know very well; why we are following it"
