Welcome to my Cathedral page and I hope
that you enjoy my presentation. I have been
to all these cathedrals but I would like to tell
you about them. I hope that you can watch
this cathedral presentation with me.

4. LINCOLN CATHEDRAL
Lincoln Cathedral was built in 1072 and was
finished in 1082. In 1141 it was destroyed by
fire. Bishop Alexander re-built the cathedral
and expanded on it. It was destroyed again
by a earthquake. Today a new cathedral is on
it site. The cathedral has two tall towers and
People can visit the cathedral now it is finished
in glory.
5. PETERBOROUGH CATHEDRAL
Peterborough Cathedral was built in
1118-1237. It is the cathedral of St Peter
and St Paul. It contains burials of
Catherine Of Aragon and Mary Queen Of
Scots who got beheaded.
6. ST Paul’s Cathedral London
On 2nd September 1666 a great warm
fire brew over London devastation to
the old St Paul’s. In 1673-1714 Sir
Christopher Wren built a bright new
cathedral that has the burials of Lord
Nelson, The Duke Of Wellington and Sir
Christopher Wren Himself. There is a shop
and a majestic café that serves hot
snacks & Drinks. The Wedding Of Diana
Happened Here in 1981.
7. DURHAM CATHEDRAL
Durham Cathedral was built in 1093. It
overlooking The River Wear and the town of
Durham. In 985AD a white church was built on
the site to house the relics of St Cuthbert and
the head of St Oswald. They are now buried in
the cathedral. ST Bede is buried their. The
tower shows spectacular views over the town
and the river. There is a shop and café that
sells lovely gifts and homemade cakes and
coffees.
8. HEREFORD CATHEDRAL
Hereford Cathedral was built in 1079. The
cathedral is dedicated to 2 saints. The
cathedral was built by Robert De Befur.
The Choir seats are 50 seats and there is
a shop and a magna carta. There is also
a café in the cloisters.
9. YORK MINSTER
York Minster was built in 1080 and it was
built in the Norman Style. The new
structure was damaged by Fire in 1137. It
was rebuilt in 1154 and the Chapter
house was built in 1260’s. Today services
are held regular on a Sunday and also
there is a shop selling guide books.
10. RIPON CATHEDRAL
Ripon Cathedral was built in 672AD. It
was built by ST Wilfrid who also built
Hereford Cathedral. Their has been
several cathedrals on the site. The most
famous people from Ripon were Wilfrid
Owen and Lewis Carroll. It has a shop
that sells cards and guide books.
